Gucci’s Partnership with UNHCR in 2022

The House is playing an active role to promote refugee inclusion by reinforcing its partnership with and support for UNHCR.

In recognition of its overall efforts, Gucci was honored for the third year in a row with the UNHCR “Welcome – Working for Refugee Integration” Award which recognizes companies that distinguished themselves in both the collaboration with and promotion of, refugee integration and employability in Italy.

Moreover, following the US $500,000 donation made in March through Gucci’s global campaign for gender equality CHIME FOR CHANGE to provide emergency support to refugees fleeing violence in Ukraine.

In addition, thanks to the #guccichangemakers volunteering program, more than 150 Gucci employees in Italy have taken action this year to provide direct and concrete support to associations engaged in supporting refugees and families who have fled violence in Ukraine.
