Gucci Changemakers North America announces the second round of recipients for its five-year Impact Fund. 250 organizations submitted applications and the Gucci Changemakers Council has selected 15 non-profit recipients who will receive a grant for up to $50,000 that will be used to create new programs or scale existing initiatives

As we face this trying chapter in our history, we need Changemakers now, more than ever. Today, Gucci announces the second round of recipients for its five-year Gucci North America Changemakers Impact Fund. Continuing to build on the broader Gucci Changemakers community and championing important social and economic issues, 15 new non-profits organizations will join our 2020 Changemakers Impact Fund winners in doing the local work to create change.
The recipients are: Misa Hylton Fashion Academy, New York; SoHarlem, New York; Weird Enough Productions, Atlanta; Sista Afya, Chicago; Social Works, Chicago; JOURNi, Detroit; Magpies and Peacocks, Houston; The Academy Foundation/Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Los Angeles; We Are R.I.S.E., Los Angeles; Radical Partners, Miami; ProjectArt, New Orleans; Tools and Tiaras, Philadelphia; The African American Art & Culture Complex, San Francisco; Human Rights Campaign, Washington D.C and UforChange, Toronto.
In addition, these select organizations will have the opportunity to engage in volunteer activities with Gucci employees, participate in Town Hall conversations with Gucci leadership, and additional programming with Gucci’s North America Brand and Culture Engagement team.
Since its launch in 2019, Gucci Changemakers Scholarship Program and Impact Fund have invested over $2 million in multi-year grant funding to organizations and students working to promote social good in diverse communities throughout North America. The next round of applications for the Gucci Changemakers impact Fund will open Fall of 2021.
